A new day~

So I actually feel like Lucy walking through the wardrobe for the first time. For her, the world of Narnia was new and a place filled with wonder. For me, the world of blogging is the same. I will endeavor to greet this new adventure with the same excitement Lucy showed.

Now I don't know about you, but I truly did not know that the children in the Narnia books even had a last name. Pevensie? Yeh, I had to google to find it. Of course it has been at least 25 years since I read the books. My friend, Mrs. March, was the one who suggested it. I have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. I wasn't exactly sure if I wanted to go with it because my children are girl, boy, girl, boy, unlike the book. At any rate I'm going to make it work because I just love the title with "Wardrobe of Knowledge" and that so fits the whole Narnia thing (thank you Mrs. March!).

So here I sit at Mrs. March's table, learning how to sign up to blog and typing my thoughts when I should REALLY be preparing for the class I'm teaching this weekend at our homeschool convention. Can I help it if once again I've been distracted from my responsibilities? Well, yes, some would say so but I always say I was born that way, which is true considering my ADD, although I could blame it on my brother and the head injuries he caused (we were just playing, really). In a sense I am at least doing something related to the class I'm teaching. My topic is Homeschool Law. Since I feel so strongly about the importance of knowing homeschooling laws, I want to include it here. I was going to add, "if you are homeschooling" but quite frankly I wish some public school officials knew the homeschooling law as well so I didn't have to go around mopping up some of the messes they make. So amidst the stories of my homeschooling adventures, I will occasionally add some other really important information too!
